This reminds me of “The Case of the Killer Robot”, a fictitionalized computer study case study of the late 1990’s developed by Richard G. Epstein and based in part by the real death of Japanese worker Kenji Urada, the first person to be killed by a robot in Japan (and second one worldwide).
