I voted 3rd party last election too. If my choices are “the lesser of two evils” then I’ll pick the 3rd option, regardless if they win or lose. I can have a clear conscious, which is what more than most can say.
Actually, the common conservative view of Green Party members is that they’re “watermelons” – green on the outside but pink/reds underneath. Meh, I just think they’re well-meaning but a bit strange. Stationed in Berlin at FSBerlin in the 80s I worked at a joint military installation on top of Tuefellsberg (the devils mountain). After WW II all the bombing rubble was piled up in the equivalent of Grand Central Park and became a man-made mountain. High enuf to see Poland on a clear day – and with a ski slope on the back side. Add top soil and plant trees and you’d never know you’re on the worlds biggest mass grave. Anyway while I was there there were mass Green Party demonstrations because the military wanted to cull back the new growth trees from the artificial forest on the artificial mountain (impinging on the security fences) and that was “attacking nature”. Go figure.

Some people get ANGRY when you tell them you’re voting third-party largely due to disgust at the two-party system.

Hang on….while this IS a US comic strip, that dog is Canadian. Are more ballots being “rigged” so that Canadian dogs can vote down there?

the existence of 3rd parties (or even a second party) is something that would never happen in Russia
