    The card could have said Zinovy “Mad Dog” Rozhestvensky. Not actually a Soviet, considering he worked for the Tsar and died about eight years before the February Revolution. Pavel Cherenkov ought to have decent stats, though, as long as Nobel Prizes and general scientific influence are included.

    Pavel Alekseyevich Cherenkov was a Soviet physicist who shared the Nobel Prize in physics in 1958 with Ilya Frank and Igor Tamm for the discovery of Cherenkov radiation, made in 1934.
