If Bucky thinks baseball is boring, wait till he watches golf!

Base ball has been berry, berry good to me.

And it’s the World Series!

And the Yankees and the Dodgers! Formerly the “Bronx Bombers” and the “Brooklyn Bums” in the old days!

I played baseball when I was a kid. Stopped watching it about fifty-five years ago. I agree with Bucky. Living in Europe the last forty years helps.

Baseball is the thinking person’s game. During that supposed inactivity is when the strategy is taking place. If you want consistent action, watch a basketball game.

Yeah, that’s the way I feel about baseball, too, Bucky!!

One thing I like about cricket, you can score on every pitch (bowl).

In my experience, baseball causes more boredom than it relieves.

I guess I must have been born sans the sports gene. Sigh. I have never found any sport that interesting. From curling and baseball to tennis, hockey or basketball. But I do find the fervor which some folks display expressing their passion for their sport(s). It reminds me of my passion for the cosmos.

I’m with Bucky on this one, I enjoy playing Baseball, but watching it, not very exciting watching a couple of guys playing catch.

It’s a toss-up as to whether baseball or golf is the most boring sport. To me they are tied. :)

YES and Amen, Buck !!!! Greedy statues. VERY greedy statues. Even world war 2 couldn’t stop the world series, but their greed sure did.

Bucky might enjoy ice hockey.

I enjoy going to a live game, but watching on TV is just boring.

Watching sports is living vicariously through the achievements of others

“Baseball is a lazy sport. It looks like it was originally designed for cats.”-Kyle Kinane. So, Bucky might like it. But probably not enough violence for him.

Baseball bores me as well. I have a friend who really likes it. Of course, he likes ALL sports – football, baseball, track, tennis, golf. He watches them all.

I went to an Atlanta Braves game with my cousin. Kinda interesting, but more for the one-time experience of a pro ball stadium and the fans. I didn’t watch much of the actual game.

PLAYING baseball and softball is fun. It’s the watching that’s boring to me.
