Unless the Abros are poor, and they don’t appear to be, they would already be taking Brody to group sessions for kids who don’t socialize well. Throwing him into the environment of a football team would probably be terrible for him.

Unless I’m mistaken, that acne in P1 appears to be pretty damning evidence of a steroid problem at Milford High. Are we about ready for another plot twist?

Kaz’s “ducktail” hairdo in P2 reminds me of Porter Wagoner. He sang with Dolly Parton back in the day.

What is it exactly that Gil and Kaz get paid to do?

These two coaches should be spending more time in the film room breaking down their upcoming opponents rather than pumping iron.

Maybe Brody’s standoffishness has nothing to do with his Asperger’s. Maybe he’s just a sociopath.

Morgil, it’s great that your nephew is on a team and enjoys it. It just doesn’t seem like a good environment to thrust a kid like Brody into. He has been depicted as unable to carry on any kind of conversation. Any football team is going to have its share of jerks who would make life miserable for Brody unless a team leader “adopts” him, which could be the next plot device.

He’s adopted by Sandra Bullock’s family, then becomes a big college football star in Mississippi.

Chiphilton: Since those with Aspergers can be all over the spectrum and Brody seems particularly high functioning he might be able to make the transition to a team but obviously Gil would have to read the team the riot act and do some serious monitoring. On the other hand, especially in HS football, you cannot have a kicker who can only kick as the kicker is quite often the last line of defense needed to at least slow down the run back and that might be wanting too much to expect Brody to rise to that level.
