Well today’s strip gave us nothing. At least we get Gil’s timeout tomorrow.

P1- Good to see cartoon Badass Race Bannon landed on his feet after taking care of Dr. Quest, Jonny, Hadji and Bandit all these years.

And that Cyndy’s family has recovered from the debacle of their famous Ayds weight loss candy.

Panel 1 is a good candidate to be recycled in the future. Will we see this at least two more times during basketball season as Gil greets the opposing coach?

Gil and the opposing coach seem to be sharing that smile that says, “No matter how bad of a coach I am, this school will never fire me because no one else wants this job.”

Any chance Gil wishes us a Merry Christmas tomorrow? Of course Milford just finished their first basketball game,so it may still be November for them. We’re probably six weeks from a Merry Christmas in front of the fire.

What’s the over/under on a Thorp kids sighting tomorrow in Gil’s Christmas card? I’m too lazy to do the due diligence by checking past strips but my gut tells me it’s been at least six or seven years since we’ve seen them in the Christmas greeting, one-panel strip. Ergo, no more than a 10% chance of them making a “guest” appearance tomorrow.

“Can’t” isn’t in my vocabulary. I’m going to call her Cindy Y.

The cartoonist must have ties to Central New York. Corcoran and Nottingham are high schools in Syracuse.

I’ll make a bold prediction that we see the Thorp kids and their dog in tomorrow’s strip!
