Kaz’s comment reminds of this season’s baseball announcing trend: “Keep the line moving.” I listen to games all over the country on XM, and suddenly announcers in every city are urging their team to keep the line moving. How do these things spread?
Conrad Haskins rips a double in the right field corner and scores Metzger and Devore. Wildcat pours another bourbon on the rocks, Marty ponders his racing form, Mimi gets an oily rubdown from Pedro, the MHS team storms the field to congradulate Lucky and Amy delivers a frothy pitcher of root beer over our hero. HRRAACCKKKK!!!!
So will Lucky be the hero with his new-found luck attitude, or will he be the goat? Either way he’ll still be happy of course since he has his devoted and loving girlfriend, who never goes to his games and is probably hanging out at the pool with Mimi, Pedro and Pedro Jr.
Just wondering about the play-downs. What state limits participation to only league champions? Michigan lets just about everybody in for a one game elimination format
From yesterday:JPuzz: I don’t think Gil would have been out to the mound already. The guy had a no hitter going.
Bluedarter: I like it. I can’t believe this hasn’t caught on already. It’s the knew way to send signals. I can see it now. The runner on 2nd base pulls out his cell phone to let the batter know what is being called! Apps to steal….This has to be successful!

Hope he hits into a season-ending double play.

Based on the shoulder pads he’s wearing, number 15 is also ready for football season.

Good thing Devore’s single didn’t hit that fence arcing through the air in P2.

You know if it’s at all possible Lucky will fail in MUT. Maybe not today, but hopefully tomorrow.

In all reality thanks for the reminder that it’s Luckey with an -ey, not going to look up the date for that one but it seems to have gone unobserved.

I think we’ll need something stronger than Lucky Strikes to get through 19 more innings of this.
Nice avi.
