I like the nostalgia of this malt shop-looking place. I haven’t seen one quite like this since 1966, Walgreens on Dixie Highway, in Valley Station.

Geez, Gil looks like he’s trying to get True to take a sip of his Coke. Next thing we know, they’ll be sharing a soda with two straws.

Gil sips his refreshing Coca-Cola (Open Happiness TM) and orders up another Blue Plate Special while trying to get through to Tru the Blu Chipper.

“Flo, get me a tube steak and run it tru da garden!”

“I’m not interested in your dad’s dreams. I’m interested in YOUR dreams.”

In all reality, Gil says Forget about your Dads dreams I can make yours a reality, in all reality.

Gil is thinking lets go to Penn State together and I can become the next Jerry Sandusky

Darn, I wish we had a panel four today, because I think Gil’s next inquiry was, “True, do you like movies about Gladiators and have you ever seen a grown man naked?”

Today’s panel four:

Gil: Soon as you finish your coke we’ll get on with our Milford tour. Next up is the PEACOCK LOUNGE & TATOO PARLOR. Today’s dancers are Molly the mystical pizza box dancer and Wendy the Famous Costume Malfunction dancer. Music is by Slim Chance and his band. Bouncer is a one-armed coach. For regular members there is even private showers in the back.

True: golly gee Mr. Thorpe…… that sounds swell!!

Eventually Gil will help True realize he is following his dad’s dream, not his. He doesn’t even like football. Either he will decide to pursue something else, or they’ll move again and we won’t even see him play football in the fall for anyone in the Valley.But until that day comes, True is the main focus in MUT too.
