P3: Sure, Cressa is offering a fist bump and congratulations to Cami, but her expression says it all. “You sure you’re only a sophomore? Then you’ll be stuck in this strip for three whole years? You poor, poor, thing.”
NOW they’re being realistic! In my kids’ experience (football, softball, basketball), lack of playing time was the #1 drama trigger, even in middle school. This could turn ugly…
P-1: Using one of her super powers Cami has grown 6" since practice.
P-2: The art department continue to try to use all that violet ink some moron ordered.
P-3: In a dazzling display, Cami shows a second super power as she has not only had a nose job this afternoon, but also completely recovered from the after affects. In just hours, the youngest member of the team has become a) the hottest shooter and b) the hottest Lady Lark on the team. She has also gone from pale to black skinned. I wouldn’t be surprised if she hasn’t finished her homework and finished her English term paper to boot. “Future Girl”!!!
Have R&W ever attended a Basketball game? Captain Tally should be sitting facing straight ahead with her arms between her knees and her head down as she catches her breath. The violet lens filter is getting a little old already.
Of course, I knew this would happen. I mean in this strip, pretty much never in real life. Midseason Mimi brings up a JV player to help since the team is floundering. And apparently this player is better than the entire bench and at least one starter. So WHY THE HELL WAS SHE ON JV? Someone that talented should have been on the team all year. Heck, she may have been the high scorer in her first varsity game. Probably second highest at the worst. Mimi, you got some ‘splainin’ to do!
And speaking of ‘splainin’, you’ve got some ‘splainin’ to do as well if you’re not reading Mopped Up Thorp – https://moppedupthorp.wordpress.com/

Regardless of reduced playing time and 1/3 can hard seltzer controversies, I still think a good captain should sit with the rest of the team.

Looks like Fist Pump Man is giving someone the finger in P2. Must be unhappy about the cut in playing time for Hollis.

P2: I can see someone get the blues if your playing time gets cut (St. Louis hockey excluded), but I’ve never seen anyone get the grays.
