Does he have total vison loss or just patches where he literally has blind spots? I had a high schooler with that. Only objects dead center, for the most part, he could see. Is he going mostly “on feel?”
In all reality ,Watch out Greg you’re walking right into the school bus .If it hits you, no more baseball for you ! Thanks for the warning Mr Reality .
“As usual…. I have an idea!” I have an idea, too. Why not make the parents, coaches and other adults involved aware of his situation and get some help rather than run the risk of, not only the continued loss of his vision, but the real possibility his pitching may cause serious injuries to opponents. This is one of the most off-the-wall story arcs I’ve ever read. What could possibly be the writer’s motive for such an irresponsible course of action.
P 4: “…my idea is that I’m gonna’ tell coach that you can’t see for s*** and that you should be removed from the team…that should solve all your problems…”
“Claim that on account of your visual disability you should be allowed to play on a team that uses a larger ball. Then, when you’re made a member of Coach Mimi’s softball squad, you will disappear from the strip entirely! And since your Dad will go with you, that solves his problem too!”
What the heck? Why do the baseball players have on football jerseys? Has anyone seen a baseball jersey with a huge number like that on the front?
Unbelievable that this game’s fiasco STILL hasn’t exposed Gregggg’s blindness. Guess both Kazzzz and Gillll missed the game again. Or were sleeping on the bench. And speaking of sleep, be sure to check out today’s Mopped Up Thorp before you go to sleep.
Yeah, the fielding woes obviously was going to expose Gregggg’s vision problem. And then, NOPE! NOBODY HAS THE FAINTEST IDEA! Instead we get what’s sure to be an even stupider plan from Scooooter to somehow signal Gregggg to the ball location on grounders. I’m telling you, this story is getting close to making me blowtop mad. Where did I lock up that flamethrower?

Yeah. Let’s keep this on the low. The coaches don’t need to know since they don’t care.

Sure, Gregg…don’t bother to ‘work on it at practice’…just continue to bungle bunts and weak grounders during actual games
