MILFORD WINS THE FINAL! There really wasn’t any doubt on my end mind you, the narrative had been building this way, but I give the team props for building genuine tension and making it VERY close, with both sides having a LOT riding on this. This probably won’t get milford’s entire budget back but it’ll help.. while Luke’s going to have to deal with the loss he sacrificed so much to get to.

P1: First case of DEES (Double Ear Explosion Syndrome) I’ve ever seen.

P2: Apparently, budget cuts have forced Milford to substitute volleyball nets for backboards.

P3: Special appearance today by Fist Pump Man’s twin brother.

Gil and Milford welcomed adversity instead of defeat finally.

Where were Keri and Pedro during all this drama? Glad they made it back for the ending. I assume they were in the backseat of Pedro’s car, and in their haste to get back Pedro put on his Maple Leafs sweatshirt after losing the Milford one he was originally wearing. And speaking of haste, make haste and get over to Mopped Up Thorp, toot sweet!

P-1 & 2: Milford (Henry) assessed 2 Ts for Cultural Insensitivity ( I think they call that, nowadays), but Milford still wins by one.P-3: Pedro & Keri demonstrate they are Fair Fans and actually join the Milford bench.Moral of the Story: Spare the “Rod” and Spoil the Championship!

Pedro gives Keri a long kiss goodbye at the docks while Jami stakes his claim on a corner of the shipping container in preparation for the long, slow trip back to the jungle sweatshop. Vacation’s over kids! The call just came in, the sweatshop is swamped with orders for “Gil Thorp, Undefeated Valley Basketball Champion” apparel. Those t-shirts, hoodies and polos don’t make themselves, Keri and Jami.

P3 – Gil now has a cowlick a la Superman. One Valley championship will do that for you.

P1- He looks like he’s running for a touchdown. Dribbling is now optional.

P2- The winning basket gives him 4 out of 8. UGH!

P3- I’d be happy too if I turned into a twenty year old.
