Does Henry know the meaning of the word “meanwhile”? It means happening at the same time as the prior narrative. Keri cannot be getting into Mimi’s car and then “meanwhile” be at wrestling practice. Gil can’t be at the Milford-Jefferson basketball game and then “meanwhile” be at home while Mimi comes to get Jami and Keri. In both cases the proper word is “later”. A professional writer shouldn’t need basic grammar lessons.

I hope coach is calling a timeout to yell at Keri for wearing a hoodie while wrestling. It’s too loose plus she’ll get choked. And speaking of plus, a big plus for you Gil Thorp readers is you get the additional treat of reading Mopped Up Thorp.
