ok, did any of you add up the problems on the board, if so how many of you took out an 8 1/2 × 14 legal pad and used common core and how many did it old fashioned way. The old way takes about 4 seconds and the common core about 5 minutes.

Hunter7: So did I – there was nothing to carry. And I have poor math skills, thanks to elementary arithmetic and junior hi algebra who didn’t care about teaching. And this was in “the good old days” before public employees had any rights, and all the pupils were pale.
