A closet is a thousand dollars a night. An extra hundred to use the toilet. Another 200 to take a shower. An extra 500 to sleep on a cot instead of the floor. Or so I’ve heard from people who have had the misfortune of going there. The closest I’ve been to NYC was flying over it in the air force, and that was too close. The closest I’ve been on the ground was Philadelphia and that was too close (I took Amtrak from Chicago to Phily and back).
