I had a totally blind, and depressed, dog. I sat her down one day and told her she could still play. I tried squeaking her favorite toys, but she would just turn her head away, sadly. (Her blindness was an instant thing, not a slow change.) But the next time I used the vacuum cleaner, she chased it and kept biting it! I cheered her on!
