In my senior year in high school, I went to my employer’s store to help open up. I had a bad night’s sleep. Finally, I managed to hold on until the last class of the day English IV where I conked out. I hear the teacher’s voice call my name for the next “volunteer” to read. I raised up looked at her and went back to sleep. The next day I was the volunteer to read and it was almost when the class ended.

This is not going to end well, for society. Then again every generation has complained about the next generation.

A string of small firecrackers would work, but I don’t think the administration would like that.

Perhaps the teacher should not be telling boring stories about their personal life?

A school in London (UK) experimented with opening at 8.00, but not starting classes until 10.30. They found it worked much better than standard school times. Teenagers time cycle runs late.

I saw the same gag in another strip a few days ago but can’t remember what it was? Anyone know what it was?
