Well, don’t go bawling to Mom when the indoor temperature (buy not touching the thermostat) starts to melt it.

Then you better keep it in the refrigerator. My cousin has a chocolate bunny from 8 Easters ago in the refrigerator. In fact, it’s still there today. Still wrapped in foil.

“Chocolish”? Must be a combination of chocolate and licorice. If it were fake chocolate, it would be called “Choco-ish”.

My parents used to give out full size Hershey Bars. Most popular house in the neighborhood. We went to WinCo and bought bulk this year. That way anything left over is a favorite. We have a small bowl of stuff we will actually eat.

Today’s chocolate can be framed and allowed to slowly turn whitish with what is called a “bloom” what with all the preservatives in it. I have proof too. I just found a box of brandy filled nuggets in my mother’s dresser. She moved in with us three years ago. Upon opening, I discovered that the chocolates are perfectly white, while the brandy has completely evaporated. It still smells fine. I’ll use them up when I make banana chocolate muffins.

I remember when those full-size bars cost 10 cents.
