well, middle school girls, you’re in for it now

For once, a principal does something.

For what, hugging?

Well, here we go! We can’t say nobody called it.

That takes zero tolerance a bit far.

Get a lawyer!

Yikes! Scary principal!!!

Suspended for what — for NOT fighting?

Busted!

Hopefully they will get time off once they explain what happened, or they may both be booted out of the play. Yikes!!!

Principal should be more worried with the drugs the kids are getting off the street pusher who hangs out by the playground.

Unless he saw them fighting (which never really happened, grabbing shoulders and pushing against each other doesn’t really count) there’s no reason for suspension. Detention for misconduct and inciting maybe.

I remember an incident in my high school when the assistant principal spotted a circle of spectators. Crowding in with ill-concealed glee, he found a chess game. He departed to raucous laughter.

They weren’t fighting, so why would they be suspended?

Suspended for consensual hugging? Schools have gotten very strange.

I think they should be ALMOST suspended for ALMOST fighting.

There’s always that one teacher who, regardless the outcome, cannot tolerate any possible deviation of the rules.

I wonder if Dean did not record the entire thing and shows that Heart and Kat did not fight. I still think that someone set up both Heart and Kat to get into a fight so they get suspended and kicked out of the play.

No justice in the world…

But that didn’t look like fighting.

Oh good. They’re both being punished, so they’ll both be out of the play, so they won’t have the chance to work together to make it fun for everybody, and nothing is accomplished. Thank you, Status Quo!
