“37 Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink? 38 And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee? 39 And when did we see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.’ 41 Then he will say to those at his left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels….”(Matthew 25).
Too many don’t recognize that doing these things helps reduce future problems i.e. keeps crime rates down, prevents transmission of disease and helps people to become self supporting. No matter what individualist think , we are all in in this world to function together.
I am not bragging but I have done everything in these Matthew 25 verses (I only did the prison part twice: but, I have done the others many times over): “37 Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink? 38 And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee? 39 And when did we see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?’

To you Reverend, and others, yes. To some religious “leaders”, not so much. I’ll leave the low hanging fruit to others.

Feed the babies who don’t have enough to eat. Shoe the children with no shoes on their feet. House the people living in the street.

The least of these is hungry.
The least of these is sick.
The least of these needs clothing.
The least of these needs drink.
The least of these knows sorrow.
The least of these knows grief.
The least of these has suffered pain, and Jesus is His name.
Do you dare to gaze into His hollow eyes, hollow eyes?
Is He staring back at you with His hollow eyes,
Hollow eyes, hollow eyes?
Hollow Eyes, (chorus) Petra
