He might believe you if you said it stood for “fenomenal.”

Then “A” must mean “Average”.

‘A" is for average, ’B is for borderline, ’C’ is for cautionary, ‘D is for dedicated and ’E’ is for exemplary.

Wow, times have sure changed since I was in school.

Yeah and D is doing great, C is doing crummy, B is doing bad, and A is atrocious.

Student: “I don’t think I deserve an F.”Teacher: “You don’t, but it’s the lowest grade we give.”

Ok Ferman (I meant Herman) If it was a checker game it would be your move.

This gag was used years ago, in a strip called ‘Brevity’, by Guy and Rodd…

I could swear I read this gag in this same strip when I was a kid!

And that’s my story, and I’m sticking to it no matter what the teachers says or tries to prove otherwise.
