Why is it that so many teachers and instructors, and other so-called experts in many fields, skills, or whatever are so often not actual practitioners, but just theorists? All their knowledge seems to have been acquired from books, other people, or other sources rather than actual experience. I tend to place more trust in the knowledge of those with actual experience. And yes I know it is just a cartoon.

I still have this very cartoon I cut out of the paper. The newspaper is yellowed now from age.
