OK, you can work from home.

I had a boss like that. Wouldn’t let me take off when my boy was sick so I brought him to work with me. He got so mad! Well, he wouldn’t let me off!

I had a boss that always used to say: " If you call in, too sick to work, you’d better be dead or dying!"

Sadly, he meant it.

“No, I’ll be there. Might have to lie down a bit, though.”

I can sometimes get more work done from my computer at home than I can from my computer at work.

MUMmys the word

Your work is piling up, you haven’t done today’s work yet.

I can imagine what the rumour mongers will say: “Did you hear about Bill? Apparently he got so plastered, he couldn’t make it into work today!”

You’ll have to use your vacation time for this….

I think there needs to be a space between the words “in” and “to”. Otherwise the caption doesn’t make sense. I Know…Picky, picky, picky!!! Proof reading does help though.

I never heard of a Postal Supervisor visiting an employee in the hospital.
