The dog is the only one with a licence.

They must question his registration.

Can’t they see he’s a purebred??

They way people drive around where I live, I suspect some of them do send their dog to take the test for them. The dog stands a better chance of passing the test.

I used to have a golden retriever-ish type dog. I also had a beat up, old Bronco II truck. The vehicle was his truck. I was NOT allowed to drive it unless he was in it with me.

Since I used the truck almost exclusively to run errands on weekends, he got his wish.

One day we drove to the bagel store (not beagle store) and when I got out of the store, he was sitting behind the wheel. I opened the door and said, “Move over, I’m driving. The last time you drove, it wasn’t pretty.” A woman who was getting into the car next to me lost it.

Officer, show me in the rule book where it says that the designated driver has to be human.

He’s following you doggedly.

Evidently, the dog also talks, because he asked him a question.

Doggone it.

Probably the K-9 Officer behind them.

We’re okay. It’s a K-9 unit.

Just tell he’s your seeing eye dog.

No cruiser behind after el pooch has taken evasive action.
