He might be in for a huge discount if the phone company started charging for ‘quality’, instead of ‘quantity’.

What’s a phone company? Cell service. It should say provider. LOL

“What are these, Divorce Papers? You want to leave me and marry your cell phone?!”

They do that anyway. They just wait a month to collect. He might have said that they want to collect daily. Won’t be long I think.

Alas some younger people won’t get this at all. Unlimited text and talk for $$$. What do you mean bill daily? You mean charge a little bit each day like a subscription?

My Dad got annoyed when long distance calls went on too long (in his mind). He’s shout ’It’s my nickel!" He was a curmudgeon.

I’m reading Steven Pinker’s “Englightenment Now,” and he reminded me of the long distance phone call days.

Phone service has changed a lot since this cartoon was made.
