What’s the problem with that dress that damsels have to be saved from it? Is it one of Lady Gaga’s?

@Coyoty - it’s because distress makes their butts look big… and btw, why is that a bad thang? [jk]

I dunno….i seem to recall Wonder Woman having to save her man-trophy Steve from perilous situations more than a few times

Damsels! You can’t live with ‘em and you can’t live without ‘em.

Wonder Woman saved Stevie Wonder?

The movie “Salt” was originally written for a male lead. There was to be a scene in it where Salt(M) saves his wife from some dire distress. When they rewrote the movie for Angelina Jolie, they cut that scene rather than regendering it, because having Salt(F) save her husband from peril would have made him appear weak, and therefore unworthy of being married to Salt…

In the year 932, Ms. Amazement tried to rescue Prince Herbert from his imprisonment in the tower of Swamp Castle, but he would have none of it…
Since then she’s stuck to damsels. At least they’re grateful.

Hi, shytimes. I’ve been scarce, but not entirely absent. I’m in rehearsals for a play (small role, but I’m also A.D.), so my schedule has been (and will continue to be) tight for a while.

Wonder Woman has spent the last 70 years saving Steve Trevor from one peril after another. But I guess poor Steve isn’t as famous as Lois Lane.

The only other option is to not save them, because they’re damsels. Which is kinda sexist…
