That’s not a Texas buck. At least not a Central Texas buck. There are a lot of deer down here, but because of drought, the forage isn’t so good, and the deer remain on the small size. I’ve seen six point bucks with their backs no taller than my waist. I used to live in Iowa, and those corn fed deer grew to a real decent size.
