Republican philosophy; The real scandal isn’t that there is a neo-fascist commie sympathizer running the country. The scandal is that people are waking up to that fact.
It’s hard to find politicians that are skilled in root cause analysis - that can get to the bottom of an issue - and permanently correct the system. I’ts much easier to blame others — create scapegoats — than do the hard work of real problem solving. It’s easy for a politician to deflect faulty ideology as not working because of “them” instead of accepting that their ideology is part of the problem. Besides, career politicians are too busy campaigning to do work for the people.
Oh, I feel a lot safer now with Trump in town. A National Security Advisor who shares secrets with our enemies and holding a secret meeting and posting it on Facebook. That’s far more damage than any immigrant can do.
Wasn’t Flynn the one who said that Hillary should be locked up because her use of a personal server posed a threat to national security? Isn’t there a word for people who say one thing and do another? Oh yeah, hypocrite.
I am watching Trump’s press conference right now. He is channeling O’Reilly and Hannity. I’ve already heard him repeat several conspiracy theories as if they were truth.
So Trump said he won the electoral college vote by the largest margin ever. Until the press pointed out that it was just plain wrong. So then he said, “I mean for Republicans.” Until they pointed out that that statement was wrong too. So being found wrong he immediately blamed someone else, “Well, somebody told me.”
.
If Trump vetted his “facts” as much as he plans to vet immigrants, he would not make such stupid statements. We’ll never find out who the “somebody” was. It’s probably one of his “everybodies” as in “everybody knows.” He should find this “somebody” and tell him “You’re fired.”
.
In case you are wondering, his margin of victory is in the lower quarter of all electoral vote differences.

When EVERYONE around you is the problem, especially those reporting on the problem, it should be obvious that YOU are the problem…
