Whats so great about "old school music"?
Flash light!
According to mom and Dad, new music is lacking good singing and good lyrics. everything new is "auto -tuned to death"
how can we argue with them...
when we're not allowed to hear anything new!

So true! New music lacks depth and live instrumentation. I quit watching music videos years ago because it was all bling and T-n-A.

Lacks depth & Instrumentation? Try listening to Trans-Siberian Orchestra or Nightwish! :)

“New” music has dirtier lyrics, and everything is electronic (almost). If you want new music that is “real” you have to search for it. Music videos are a waste of time. I’m glad the parents are taking the responsibility to control what the kids listen to.

There are great artisit out there, and I agree that Adele is a great singer, but it seems for every Adele out there, there is a artist that has raunchy lyrics, or is auto-tuned to death. Yes, the parents of the 50s had the same complaints about music, but last time I checked, Johnny Mathis or Pat Boone didn’t talk about drug use or explicit sex acts.

Put a guitar into some of these new so-called pop/rap “musicians” & they wouldn’t know what to do with it. It’s all digital; no “know-how.”

This series remind me of when Marcie “went back in time” to the 80s and ran into teenaged Joe. Classic.
