Next year Cubby will be a full grown bear

Cute when he’s a baby. Not so cute when he’s a 300-pound adult bear hanging around the neighborhood.

How did mama bear get to the city?

It is sad but true that bears – well, any animal – that becomes accustomed to humans is going to come to a sticky end; that’s why they tell you not too feed them. There was a case in Colorado where a woman kept feeding the bears in spite of having gotten into all sorts of trouble, because it was illegal and ultimately unfair to the bears. It ended up with the bears mauling her to death, and then roaming the neighborhood, looking for food and causing all sorts of damage.

As bears go, he IS a little kid…. 8^)

Well, in a way, he is. He just grows up faster than humans.

At least Mom is there.
