Hopefully, the sound guy turns off the mic before it hits the ground!

An asterisk implies that there are exceptions or qualifications. Frank is making the point that ALL citizens get protected and served, although I’m guessing he’d make exceptions for perps.

Deciding to join the force is a personal decision. Only you can decide if it’s your asterisk.

When dealing with the police things go a lot better if you are polite, compliant, cooperative, keep your hands in plain view and make no sudden moves. And, if necessary, submit to arrest.

If you don’t have an ast ter risk, you shouldn’t be taking chances.

Somebody said there are three types of cops:

The ones who truly want to protect and serve.

The adrenaline junkies who live for the chase.

The power-trippers who get off on asserting their authority over others.

Too bad it’s the last batch who spoil it for the first batch…

And in other news, the man who refused to let the president use the military to treat Americans as foreign enemies has been fired. Loose canon in the White House. Hope he plays even more golf. He is vindictive and we displeased him this past week.
