People are stupid. I have seen those “Instructions” in restrooms for real. Also… I have seen signs in employee restrooms at Whole Foods markets instructing people to “Please do not flush gloves or masks”
(Mama used to complain when I shook my wet hands toward the sausage frying on the stove. A little painful when hot grease popped out onto me, but fun little explosions.)
When my nephew was a kid, I would take him out sometimes. Every time he came out of the rest room, I would give him a look. He would always turn around and go back to wash his hands.
Lather, Scrub, Rinse, Dry, turn off water with paper towel.
The worst part of washing your hands after using the facilities is knowing that the last thing you touched after using them and before washing our hands is the know/lever you used to turn on the water and then you have to touch it after your are done washing. We need more motion activated sinks.

Get your fingertips damp. Wipe on pants. (Towel dispenser empty and/or a long line at the roaring air dryer.)

Dry? Don’t just shake hands vigorously?

What we need are ‘’dummy’ books for dummies.

This makes me realize I’ve been insulted by a lot of signs; they just didn’t happen to say “for total DUMMIES.”
