My mom worked in the Warner Brothers Cartoon dept during WWII. She and other women would do the inking on the cartoon cells, take the photos, wash off the ink and start a new cartoon as the acetate cells were hard to obtain during the war. She also had the responsibility ensuring all the cells were in the correct story order, etc. etc. Mom had about 200 of these cells at home when I was a kid and would look at them. Fast forward when I’m grown up. I go to a gallery that was selling original cartoon cells, (Disney, Warner Bros, etc.) fora about $200 a cell. I race home to get my hands on those cells. Mom had thrown them out a week earlier. She never could understand why anyone would pay money for those cells. I figure a small fortune went to the land fill… Sigh…….. Timing is everything.

They would sound even better on CD. CDs have this warmer, fuller sound and range that vinyl can’t capture.

All my stuff is inside a storage unit. Shame because there’s some things I wanted to take with me to my new place. Well, one at least.
