This illustrates a good point. If Dana as the CEO has put in place certain protocols for those who violate company policy, then she should be willing to follow the policies that she put in place.

“Was all of this really necessary?” Unless you would like to explain fire damage caused by a neglectful head of the hospital!

Move her office to a used trailer with her name plack in the parking lot.

This storyline was kind of a dumb idea. Greater fire hazards exist than burning a scent candle, which is not in and of itself hazardous or a selfish act. If the author wanted to make a truly worthwhile statement, he could have done a storyline on faulty wiring, old appliances or fireplaces in disrepair. The scented candle storyline is ridiculous.

The story line was about turning the smoke detectors off. That’s crazy. Who would do that?
