Take the toys to local homeless shelters. The kids there won’t turn up their noses just because the toys aren’t the latest thing.

Police were holding a food drive yesterday at a my favorite specialty market. “Fill a cop car” doesn’t work so well outside of a butcher’s..

I believe Joe had the ice cream truck specially painted for Jojo’s birthday? I hope he paid to have it repainted to its proper design. (Or maybe they use one of those plastic “wrap” things.)

Jojo shouldn’t turn his nose up at gifts. I’m betting there are plenty of needy kids who would be happy to have gently-used hand-me-downs or new (outdated?) toys.

Disturbing that they’re having trouble finding kids who wouldn’t be grateful for a toy at Christmas. What would Santa think?

It is hard to believe that Philly has no needy children who would love to have free toys.
