When they finally teach us to understand them, we’ve got some ‘splainin’ to do……….

During the time this comic first ran, John Lilly was claiming to have trained a dolphin to understand and even speak some English phrases. Unfortunately, you had to have six months experience working with this dolphin before you could understand the words. Most dolphin speech is beyond the human hearing range, which is probably just as well. (Otherwise they’d be forced to tell jokes at place like Seaworld.)

That’s just what I was thinking!
