This reminds me of the episode where Kirk lost his memory and thought he was a Native American. Although she seems to have been lifted from the Li’l Abner comic strip.
Elly May shown here encountering the world’s first hippie who was scouting the Clampett hills for a suitable concert site. He disappeared under questionable circumstances leaving the nascent hippie movement to stall out until 1965.
MAD magazine once did a parody of Prince Valiant (entitled, Prince Violent, Kurtzman and Wood) where the maiden “Viol” was pursuing kept running away from him – until she noticed a single chest hair. Whereupon she assaulted him with a pair of scissors (realizing he was really a man) and gave him a crew-cut: “They kisseth – our story endeth!”

I’ve always had one question about comic artists. How long was the course when they learned to draw breasts? They all seem to be very good at them.
