I saw âJawsâ at a sneak preview a couple of weeks before the filmâs actual release. Most of the audience spent most of the film in hysterical laughter. I donât think that was the reaction Spielberg was looking for.

Half-dozen fishies, four fish bowls, one old-style TV set, remote controlled by a fish, and Lio in a big armchair. Yup, just right for watching a Jaws (I, II, IIIâŠâ)* Marathon!
*Also the title of an interesting book on science & math by George GamowâŠ.
