Anything over 85 dB can cause hearing damage. I found that out due to my ear problem, although I have great hearing. I have to use ear plugs to lessen incoming sound, and one of the products I have tried came with a list of what can cause hearing damage. It even includes things I find painful to hear, such as a garbage disposal, but I didn’t know they were loud enough to cause damage. I would not go to a concert due to my current sensitivity, but if I did go after it’s corrected, I would wear ear plugs. I like being able to hear things and do not want to allow unnecessary loss.
