I’ve never been fishing for Muskies, but as a kid I was paddling an inner tube on the river when one bigger than I was lept from the water less than six feet (2 m) away.
Remembering that they supposedly like to grab swimming ducks by the feet and drag them down, I was almost airborne getting back to shore.

Well done, Dan! 4th place with muskies is a heck of an accomplishment.

Nice job Dan. I’ve never fished for Muskie at West Branch but have enjoyed some great bass fishing there.
