    Oak K…. I can’t resist…

Cherry’s son is on the board of Fir National Bank… but he hasn’t forgotten his local roots.

He used to run the branch here, on Pine Street… he still stops by to look over a few papers and phylum.

Old customers, if he happens to cashew in line, he walnut leaf without telling yew acorn-y joke.

No wonder he’s poplar… and he’s helped the bank grow so larch.

Yeah yeah… some of those are old chestnuts… but I do knot give a fig!

If I were yew, and you’re sycamore puns, I wooden reed my posts.

What? No ‘ash’ jokes?? Isn’t this strip rated “R” for Redwood? Or at least “MA” for Mature Arborists? Don’t worry, my bark is worse than my site. So what’s a feller to do?

Since it’s 2020, that last position might be the most prestigious…unless one of them has a child who works for the Amazon box department…
