Yes, you DO feel on top of the world when you help someone…

I remember taking a CPR class way back in the ’80’s with the company I was then working for, the very old and dignified gentleman giving the course must have been near retirement age, unfortunately, so was his dummy, which kept slowly deflating in the background. The gentlemen would stop his lecture now and then and with great dignity, blow it back up again. It was surreal, I felt like I was in the middle of a “Carry on” film …

Awwww. This is so important.

Glad the author made that note. I was thinking I’d just jump in and pound chest!

So Luann saved a life long before Brad ever did. That is something worth remembering.

Also, in later years, both Delta and Bernice SHOULD have treated Luann with considerably MORE respect.

Every now and then, things like this is why I love this strip :)

Go a step further and join your local CERT (Community Emergency Response Team). They will train and equip you to respond to local incidents, help your neighbors, learn emergency techniques and of course CPR and AED.
