This is the teacher’s fault. How dare he ask for the heroic story, hoping to inspire his other students, right before the lunch bell. Lunch is short enough, you dash from your room hoping to be in the cafeteria in the first 1/3 of the thundering herd. The next time he holds this class the first thing outta his mouth should be ‘Luann, please continue your story about rescuing Bernice.’
