I learned a valuable lesson from my mother in that area. Similar circumstances to what is being portrayed in the strip. After pouring out my angst and feelings to my mother, when I got home from mowing yards that day, she was having coffee with her friends and was telling them everything I had told her and there were gales of laughter. Yeah, I learned to never tell her anything like that or pretty much anything else sensitive again; and didn’t, much to her disgust and dismay. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who had that sort of experience.
That is spooky… not the her knowing things thing, he does it all the time, the him stalking Dianne to the point even his mom knows he does it. And the fact she does nothing but it’s the 90s and that wasn’t taken as seriously yet. It was starting too but we weren’t quite THERE yet.
