It’s getting pretty risque for a family comic. Or is Luann a family comic anymore?

I am a tad surprised that Crystal laughed so heartily at Tiff’s retort [at least I interpret it to be Tiff’s]. But with her belly-button on display today, I guess she’s in a frisky mood…. The Bernice-and-Luann Universe is drab by comparison, I fear.

I have to assume that comment came from Crystal, Tiffany doesn’t look like the type to have a vampire fetish. I bet the innuendo in today’s strip is sure to make some stuffy bluehairs minds explode. Also I love how Luann and Bernice are such evesdroppers everytime they go shopping and see Crystal and Tiff. If they don’t want to feel like unattractive, frumpy dorkettes they should just try to ignore them.

If you’re looking for a risque “teeth” line, check out the banner to “Last Kiss”.

Having raised a teenage daughter who is an adult mother now, I remember the many different personas she donned in those days. I can see a little bit of that teenager in the adult woman she is today. She is a great mom and I am proud of her.

So some folks didn’t like the “teeth” comment, eh?

Lemme see what I can do to ‘help’….,

Crystal – "How a Girl supposed to leave her ‘Mark’?

Tiffany – “Brass Knuckles? A Baseball bat? A Branding Iron?”

Oh, lighten up guys and gals.

    Here, have some Danish,

    And COFFEE!

So Tiffany is the stereotypical cheerleader who’s had nearly all of the [insert sport here] team and Crystal is the stereotypical geek goth girl who just has to announce that she’s had sex before. The syndicates must be desperate for readers if they have to ditch the Comics Code handbook.

They are just cutting up IMO. .Maybe Crystal likes the Twilight image. But she is no biter IMO.

I don’t think Knute has to worry.

pfft girls like Tiffany and Crystal also ‘remove unsightly facial hair.’ It takes hours and hours of work to look ‘pretty,’ and if you don’t invest those hours and hours of work then people think the way you look is ‘not feminine.’

did’nt think anything of the teeth thing, certainly the word RISQUE never came to mind..it was just a cute joke. funny how things never change, in high school there are always universes running parallel to each other, the plain girls, the glamour girls, the sports girls, the strange girls etc. and everyone knows where they belong

sigh… I wish half of America would readjust its Prude Meter… We’re in the 21st century now, not the 1950s!
