I was in and out in two minutes!" Crystal: "Did they say something like, "Thank you. We'll be in touch"?" Tiffany: "YES! I can't believe how well it went!"

Have your people call their people, Tiff.

I like Tiffany for her bold, confident idiocy.
Mordock999 about 13 years ago
Hmmm, so. It doesn’t look like Tiffany’s gonna get ANY part in this movie, eh?
So, what, Elwood came all the way to school to tell her about this movie part knowing full well she’d NEVER get it?
I REALLY Don’t like this guy, Now.
Hey Tiff? Elwood’s NOT a student at the school. NEXT time the little monster shows up on school grounds have him arrested for trespassing.Okay, COFFEE Time!
wiselad about 13 years ago
wonder who will be there for poor Tiff when she realizes nothing came her way on this movie project?
Sisyphos about 13 years ago
Kind of nice, actually, to see Tiff looking happy for a change—even if it’s the delusional result of her own stupidity.
TheSoundDefense about 13 years ago
This will just make her fall more entertaining.
ComicLaff about 13 years ago
That poor Tiffany is darn pathetic. Her naivete is so overwhelming that my brain skips a jump.
jeff_e about 13 years ago
How close is Pitts to Hollywood, again? Why is the movie being cast there if locals are summarily rejected? Have Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow moved into the neighborhood?
Rockabore about 13 years ago
Aw, I can’t help but find Tiff’s optimism actually rather adorable today, she’s so blissfully naive and her expressions are so funny. I can’t help but hope that she’ll get at least a background role since she’s so enthusiastic. It would be a shame to have all this set up to go nowhere. The thought of Tiff hamming it up on a movie set and Elwood directing both have potential.

OMG. Tiffany is THAT clueless?? She is so way out there. Crystal needs to reel her in. Clue her in that the reason they didn’t want her to read is because they aren’t even interested in her. @ Mordock…Yeah…it’s suspicious why Elwood showed up just to feed Tiffany the line that he would get her into a movie. Elwood is all talk and no action. He is a con man. What would Elwood get out of pulling Tiffany’s leg, I wonder?
x_Tech about 13 years ago
And here I thought Tiffany, in old French, meant “appearance of God” not “totally clueless.”

Tiffany lives in a land called Delusion.

They didn’t give her a chance to read because they saw on her resume that she doesn’t have a SAG card.
Mordock999 about 13 years ago
Ahh. Prehaps you MISSED the storylines where Elwood was cruel to Gunther, and where he gave that ‘expensive’ engagement ring to Luann which turned out to have cost all of 50 bucks. Elwood’s obnoxious, arrogant, and a liar and I for one question his motives. WHY did he show up at school that day?Unless he was there to make a donation to the school, he was trespassing, IMHO.Now I REALLY need coffee…,
Ginispics about 13 years ago
Tiff will get hit with reality….Luann will be the one who ultimately comforts her…Ellwood will give her a ooh sorry kid …see ya!
kittylover2 about 13 years ago
Tiff you make a box of rocks look smart.
spirit2002 about 13 years ago
When has she ever been?
spirit2002 about 13 years ago
Just watch, Luann will get the starring roll. That will get under Tiff’s collar.
imbaldeagle about 13 years ago
Tiff is NOT alone. You would be surprised (maybe not) how many people in today’s world live the credo “My mind is made up – don’t confuse me with facts.”
Chuck373 about 13 years ago
I wonder if Crystal will provide Tiff with the “rude awakening” she needs. At least Tiff woun’t be needing tutors. It’s not hard to fly, Tiff, but you need to be able to land. It seems Tiff is getting a lot of practice at “crash and burn”, lately.

@WesleyB – rule #1, if you’re going to correct someone be sure you’re correct yourself. Better to stay quiet and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

The epitomic icon of “Dumb blonde”.Fortunately there are few of them in this world. Intelligence is much more common. Besides, dumb comes in all colors,
NightOwl19 about 13 years ago
I agree with Mordock999 that something is amiss with Elwood’s motives. I’m actually sad that Tiffany didn’t get even a small role. But hey – wanna bet that Luann and friends get to be in a scene as onlookers/passersby?
RBLawyer about 13 years ago
i don’t understand why people say Elwood isn’t a student. There is no proof that he’s not. Lu agreed to go to the prom with him after he ponied up for Delta’s trip to DC. Or am I wrong? He stood up Lu when he said he had a better offer finally, so I could be wrong, but I have no proof that he;s not a student.
R0nin about 13 years ago
For all of you saying Tiffany is naive, I’m not sure you get the distinction between that, and self-absorbed.
Comicman424 about 13 years ago
We’ll all be old as mold by the time Tiffany figures out she was rejected.
roderickyoung about 13 years ago
I feel sorry for Tiffany, too, or anyone that is about to get a huge disappointment, whether they deserve it or not. I’ve had enough of those in my life. But she does seem to be able to shake off these things quickly.
On the quote “pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall,” the proverb is Hebrew poetry, where the parallelism is important. Basically, it says the same thing twice. So while it is not an exact quote, “pride goes before a fall” loses nothing of the essential truth.
