Of course, she is right. Everyone is afraid of the dreaded “we have to talk.” Gotta face it and do the talk. Sometimes it turns out to be something else and not what you thought it was about. Quill’s idea of “we have to talk” may be different from Luann’s. I know mine and my husband’s are quite different. When he says “we have to talk” it is usually about money.

I said it before and I’ll say it again: he’s a guy. “We need to talk” means “I want to talk to you”, not because of a specific subject that must come up but because a conversation is in order. If we have something specific that must be said, we say “Hey this specific thing needs to be discussed”. Quit overthinking it and call him on skype you twit!

C’mon, Luann. Quit trying to over-think this request and just skype the guy! You’ll find out soon enough what it’s about if you give him a chance to TALK!

When kids finally grow up they realize that maybe their parents were not such dopes after all. Some kids realize it sooner than others.
