As long as you understand you’re taking a minority position, you’re free to believe as you wish. It is not my job to change your mind. Only you can do that…or not, as you see fit.

Brad is proving yet again that he is up to the challenge of a dedicated relationship. How many guys would say “Thanks, but no thanks” if faced with the likes of Shannon, no matter how hot her aunt might be? I bet he knows by now that Shannon will figure prominently in Toni’s future-believe me, you do wind up “marrying the family” no matter what is said to the contrary—-I found that out myself!

So where is the seat belt for Shannon? Greg always takes great pains to put seat belts around Brad or Toni. Shannon is a bit old for a kiddie seat, isn’t she?

I think the best way to describe Shannon is precocious.

Today ends this particular arc. It may be that come Monday, Mr. Evans will continue with it as he does in many cases. It may also be that he will move to Ann and TJ or one of the other characters. If this particular story continues, I will be in a “wait and see” mode. They may indeed be having “mushy talk”. If the strip moves to a different storyline, Toni saying she may have a special gift to unwrap will not work. It is two people talking, and talk as the saying goes is cheap. Another way of saying it is action speaks louder than words.

Rarely does one say so little with so many words.

I recall way back my girl friend using similar language. Her ‘special gift’ to unwrap took our relationship a good bit further (physically speaking). Brad will be happy I predict, whether Toni is talking (1) more physical or (2) accepting his proposal and being engaged.

As you get older, you realize pretty wrapping doesn’t make a great gift. .It’s what’s inside that counts and Brad has been with and for her since the beginning. even waiting for her. .Not many guys will do that.

Shannon lives with her father who obviously has a ‘mushy’ proclivity. .He may even bring girlfriends home at times, who knows?
