Maybe pick only some of them. Luann can guess which ones they bought. Well, that’s what I do anyway. A wishlist on Amazon is all I need.

Luckily I just send links in my e-mail Christmas list to help the givers where to find them.

I would like to think that Luann is maturing a bit and her comment about her list was sarcastic. When Frank and Nancy click on the link, it contains more than just material wants for herself.

Thanks. I’ll give it a try. (Still really interesting in archaeology, even though I can’t do field work anymore…)

Many years ago, in Peanuts, Lucy was showing Linus her “git” list, of all the things she expected to “git” for Christmas. Linus said “Where’s your ‘give’ list?” Lucy said “My what?” Linus said “I knew it”.

Gosh! At her age, Luann is still making a Christmas list for her parents, brother, etc. to see?! And it’s 23 items long?! Somebody introduce that spoiled girl to the real world!

kinda dumb to give parents a weblink on a piece of paper, I know they’re parents and old but get with it already, send a link if you’re gonna be that dumb (although making a list like that for parents who obviously dont follow that stuff is dumb in itself)

Gee Whiz, Frank. You Mean You haven’t TAUGHT Your “Darling” Highly Impressionable Daughter the TRUE Meaning of Christmas Yet?

That ALL of the Life Savings, Luann’s College Money, and What WOULD have been a Pitifully SMALL Inheritance, has been SPENT on Your STUPID Bistro Project and that Tonight at Midnight the Family’s is gonna be Visited by Three “Ghosts” who are gonna START Breaking Legs Until Ya’ll Cough-Up the REST of the DOUGH??

It works just like a wedding gift registry. Someone can ask for anything they want. The buyer can choose whatever they want to buy, or nothing at all. Gift giving is Always a choice.

That’s not Pru: “Quill, did you know Luann put her wish list on a website? What a great idea! I’m going to do that from now on! She’s so creative, that’s why she’ll have a great career in theater!”

Why not just give her $500.00 and let her do her own thing? No shopping, no having to set up an account with Amazing.commercial, no bills to pay, no Christmas.

The only gift Luann needs? Frank recommends a great little hotel to Prudence, after explaining that Brad’s room is somehow unsuitable for habitation after all.

Remember that Frank and Nancy originally were going to rent Brad’s old bedroom to Pru because they’re strapped for funds this year:--but Luann nevertheless comes up with a huge wish-list for Christmas. However, since Luann didn’t even come to that pizza party where her friends helped her parents in cleaning up the warehouse, she should not be surprised if her entire Christmas list winds up being a ticket to the grand opening of the Fuse theater and a coupon for one half-price drink at TJ’s Cafe Kablooey.

LuAnn might be on to something. Our grandkids email gift lists and the stuff is stuff we never heard of. Anybody know what a “Just Like Me German shepherd” is or where to buy/order one? We found the website but all we see are dolls. Where the heck are the German shepherds, do they even exist.

I ask for a tee-shirt from my favorite charity or gift cards.

We always did/do lists. It was understood we wouldn’t get everything on it and that we could (and usually did) get some things that weren’t on the list. Now, it’s more of a guideline and help when you’re stuck on what to get someone.

WOW Amazing how many people get so crazed in their postsThis is a comic, not real life, nor really based on real life, as with most comics one small thing can take several days to several weeks.“Would you like some coffee” "sure " then the person saying Sure – gets their coffee about 3 weeks later……for those posting like this is a real life family, you need to chill, relax, destressJMHO Have a happy day

My daughter in law posts my grandsons’ “wish list” and I go through and pick out what I want to send them. Since they live clear across the country, that way I know I am getting them something they really want. There are usually thirty or so items and I choose one or two and have them drop shipped.
