âNOBODYâ is far from accurate. The scientific and medical communities, as well as insurance and some legal proceedings, use the term âretardedâ, and itâs variants, because it is scientifically precise. The popular (PC) term âintellectual disabilityâ is very imprecise, as it obviously can refer to very unrelated cognitive impairment.
With all the wonderful freedom granted to Americans, you should rejoice in the fact that you have a right to be politically correct, while all Americans also have the right to be scientifically correct if they so choose.
I do realize that there are some who would like to take away these basic American freedoms, but fortunately they have yet to pull it off. And the way things are headed, I donât think they will.
So you and I still have a very great deal to be thankful for. Cheer up!
