Brad thinking to himself: “Wait, there’s MORE to this 150-minute sibling time?!”

Why would you have to remove all the furniture to clean? I will sometimes (not very often) move a piece of furniture to clean under or behind it, but I don’t move it completely out of the room.

And who washes walls anymore?

She must be Stan and Brad will become Oliver.

There is, as of yet, no third person to turn this into a Three Stooges routine.

No – It is NOT a perfect time to paint. It is time for Brad to bring in a big trash can and ask Luann to pick out some things to toss.

The walls in Luann’s rooms were painted purple? I am beginning to get a new appreciation for just how dirty that room was.

Luann’s room was so dirty that they needed to wash the walls and now she wants to repaint them. I wonder if she’ll go with a color in the teal-aqua variety.

Meanwhile, Les came by to pick up Fuse paycheck. And now everything is gone from the hallway.

Might want to keep an eye on the clock, Luann. You only have help for 150 minutes, not “until task completed.” With the way you’ve been using Brad as your free labor, I wouldn’t be surprised if he walks out as soon as his time’s up and leaves you to finish the rest yourself.

“NOBODY” is far from accurate. The scientific and medical communities, as well as insurance and some legal proceedings, use the term “retarded”, and it’s variants, because it is scientifically precise. The popular (PC) term “intellectual disability” is very imprecise, as it obviously can refer to very unrelated cognitive impairment.

With all the wonderful freedom granted to Americans, you should rejoice in the fact that you have a right to be politically correct, while all Americans also have the right to be scientifically correct if they so choose.

I do realize that there are some who would like to take away these basic American freedoms, but fortunately they have yet to pull it off. And the way things are headed, I don’t think they will.

So you and I still have a very great deal to be thankful for. Cheer up!

The way the room was emptied out and the walls washed, I’m thinking that she already had it in the back of her mind to paint the room.

“Painting the Room.”

You know? The last time Luann had Her Room Painted “On Strip” was back in the Late 1990s. Back Then Gunther and Bernice helped Her Paint it. And during that time, Lu and Bern got in a fight over Gunther.

So maybe its Time to paint again.

Women have the ability to cause and direct the “domino effect.” My wife could ask me to change a light bulb in the bathroom and end up having that bathroom and one other one completely renovated.

Just like a woman.

Painting the artwork from the album cover from Nazareth’s 1975 “Hair Of The Dog” album on a wall would look pretty cool. It would lend itself well to the purple walls already there.

Do you know how hard it is to repaint a dark colored room to something lighter? Try three coats of Kilz before you get to the top coat.

Really not wanting to jump into an ongoing argument, but the Supreme Court might have had the last word on whether the term “mental retardation” is appropriate in its decision May 2014, in Hall v. Florida. The case was one where Hall’s defenders were arguing (as I recall) that he should not receive the death penalty for kidnapping, raping and murdering a 21-year old newly pregnant recently married woman, and participating in the murder of a sheriff’s deputy who tried to rescue her, because Hall suffered from a lowered IQ. He could not, therefore, be held responsible for his actions.

Both the majority opinion and the dissent stated that the term was not appropriate to be used any longer. So does this mean that the Supreme Court, of all institutions, is suffering from ‘political correctness’? Or are they trying to set the record straight, once and for all, on the utility and “applicability in law” of certain phrases?

The ‘fun’ just keeps getting deeper and deeper!
